Cori Brown – Owner/Director

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Cori began training and competing at eight years old in various forms of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, etc. She later turned her focus toward pom and cheerleading throughout her high school years and competed nationally where she was captain of her 5A Division Pom line, winning various awards including a state championship.

Professionally, she was a Phoenix Suns Dancer where she performed at NBA home games (2000-2001). Later on, she decided to take her dreams to Texas where she became part of the world renowned Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (2005-2007) and performed in front of 65,000 fans at the historical Texas Stadium.

As a cheerleader for the Cowboys, she has made multiple appearances throughout the community including charity events and has hosted both dance/cheer competitions and seminars. She has performed with a number of famous artists including Carrie Underwood, Journey, Sheryl Crow, Blake Shelton, Paula De Ann, Neal McCoy, and more.

Cori and her husband have two beautiful sons.  They attend Gateway Church and have loved making Keller their home since 2005.

Alanya Odom – Artistic Instructor


Alanya was born and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She began her dance training at age 3 and has studied multiple forms of dance including tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary, and pointe.  Alanya is a former dancer at Artistic Dance Academy, home of “Dance For Christ” under the professionalism of Patricia Warren. This is where she found her love for Christ and has chosen to travel and share God’s word.

She has been trained and danced along side Peterson and Starkesha Thelisma. In 2017, Alanya was accepted into the Ingredients Trainee Program and moved to Texas where she trained professionally in many forms of dance and traveled across the U.S. assisting with dance conventions.

Alanya is currently pursuing a degree in dental hygiene and is continuing with her third year as a teacher with Grace of Dance.  Her goal in life is to make His name known!

Iriann Alonso-Rodriguez – Artistic Instructor


Originally from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, Iriann began her training at the age of 6 in many forms of dance including ballet, hip-hop, traditional folkloric dance and salsa. Her family later relocated to Texas where she continued her training in dance as well as gymnastics and cheerleading.

Her passion for dance education as well as nutrition/fitness led her to Texas Woman’s University where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy/Exercise Science. She also minored in dance education and has numerous internship hours with Texas Health Resources in the Fitness Center and Cardiac Rehab unit. There she worked with a variety of individuals with special needs, physical and mental limitations.

In 2018, Iriann received her Master of Science in Kinesiology-Exercise Science/Physical Education and Coaching.

She has an incredible love and desire to help children and has been sharing her teaching gift with Grace of Dance since 2016.

 Cara Ricci- Artistic Instructor

Cara comes to us with over 25 years of teaching children and adults of all ages, abilities and styles.  Originally from Riverside, California, Cara began her training at the age of 9, instantly falling in love with dance.

She has performed and competed throughout Southern California and trained with well-known choreographers at Tremaine’s and The Edge in L.A., etc.  When Cara was 16 years old, she received her dream job at the happiest place on earth and was a dancer at Disneyland.

Later at the age of 18, she was accepted to the Boston Conservatory in Boston where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and continued her dance training.  She was the artistic director of Inspirations Dance Company in Colorado for 7 years.

 Amber Coulam- Artistic Instructor

Amber, originally from Houston, Texas, began her dance training at the age of 3. She has had the opportunity to train with many award winning studios across the U.S. in various types of dance including ballet, jazz, pom, and contemporary. Amber competed in many state and national competitions as early in her career at 14 years old.
Amber attended college at BYU where she studied Early Childhood Development and Dance. She’s always had a special gift and love for children, which has only grown through the opportunities she’s had to help them, and educate them. Her biggest passions in life are children (including her 3 little ones!) and dance. After college Amber began her career in dance instruction at an incredible studio in Highland, Utah. After a short time away from her career to focus on starting her family, Amber has now been blessed with the opportunity to be an instructor at Grace of Dance where she continues to pursue her passions of dance, and Childhood Development.
Amber and her husband Derek currently live in Keller with their 3 wonderful children.

Adrian Ortega- Artistic Instructor

Adrian started off as a self-taught dancer in 2010, where he focused his training on various styles of hip-hop including, Bboying, Poppin’, Animation, Locking, and Freestyling. Adrian shortly started a dance crew at his high school which eventually grew into a dance community.  Adrian has performed at multiple community events and competitions. His passion to encourage others grew and he began creating after school dance programs for students.

Throughout his college career, Adrian began studying other forms of dance including ballet, modern, and dance composition. Soon after graduating, Adrian began working in childcare where he developed a dance program to help children build confidence, express creativity, and engage with their peers.

Currently Adrian is studying ball room dancing with Arthur Murray School of Dance and continuing his training as a hip hop dancer.

 Krissy Eastwood- Artistic Instructor

Krissy began her training at age four in ballet, jazz, and modern. She was a member of Lake Cities Ballet Theatre, where she performed in many different productions including Le Ballet de Dracula, The Nutcracker, Giselle staged by Julie Kent, and George Balanchine’s Serenade. Krissy performed in many contemporary works including Brandenburgs which was performed at Youth America Grand Prix. She furthered her training by spending a summer at American Ballet Theatre’s Austin summer intensive.

Krissy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas under the direction of Stan K. Rogers and Sharon Rogers earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet. During her time at Friends University, she had the opportunity to perform in many works, including Les Sylphide, The Nutcracker, The Great Plains, Firebird, Theme and Variations, and Serenade for Strings. 

Krissy has worked with notable choreographers including Dominic Walsh, Melanie Buchanan-Murray, James Wallace , Misty Rascon-Smith, and Nick Blaylock. She was selected to perform a piece by Stan Rogers at the 5th Annual International Dance Festival in Cancun, Mexico. She furthered her training by attending Rogers Ballet Inc. in Wichita, Kansas and Contemporary Ballet Dallas in Dallas, Texas.
